The St. JPII giving appeal helps to maintain the mission of the high school in preparing students for this life and the next through faith, reason and virtue. The actual cost to educate one student is greater than the full tuition amount for one student. Your donation will help to close that gap and keep our school accessible, affordable, and available. Donors that give any amount now until the Feast of St. John Paul II on October 22 nd can do so in honor or in memory of a loved one that will be remembered at the school masses during the month of October. You can make your donations online at https://jpiihighschool.org/feast-day-donation
Health Careers Club
Twenty members of the St. John Paul II High School Health Careers Club toured the campus of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a special focus on the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Club members were fortunate to be allowed a guided tour of the nursing laboratories where university nursing students receive intensive training with multi-million dollar mannequins that can be programmed to simulate a variety of human health conditions, as well as speak numerous foreign languages. The club members also visited the Catholic Newman Center adjacent to the university campus.
