Meet Sister Patricia Burns
Since I was 6 years old I knew I wanted to be a Sister and a teacher. My life journey has been filled with caring for kids in residential settings, alternative education programs, and the traditional classroom. My greatest joy was the 18 years that I added fostering children to my life.
In 2015, I was privileged to come to Saint John Paul II High School, which has been one of my happiest teaching experiences. Teaching English has always offered me the opportunity to show students the beauty of language, which leads to recognizing the beauty of people, and ultimately the awesome wonderfulness of God.
