This is optional. 

 

Service hour opportunity. The Pregnancy Center of Corpus Christi needs students to help serve an event on the evening of March 3. Tim Tebow is the guest speaker. Please see Mrs. McCullion

If your student would like to help. Student volunteers will need their own transportation to and from the event.

SPRING RAFFLE TICKETS

The deadline for Senior ads is quickly approaching! Creating and purchasing an ad to honor your Senior and congratulate them on all their hard work is a quick and easy process. Simply log into your Treering account and click on the option for senior ads. The rest is a user-friendly walkthrough to upload your pictures and text.   Please email me (Ms. Celina Garcia [email protected] ) if you have any questions about purchasing yearbooks or Senior ads.  I'll be happy to help you through the process.  Also, don't forgot to send in those baby/toddler photos! Swim

The Saint John Paul II Girls Swim Team participated in the TAPPS Division II State Swim Meet on Friday, February 11th in San Antonio, Texas.  Anastacia Ramos, Rebecca Garcia, Ava Vasquez and Amaris Vasquez swam the 200 Freestyle Relay and brought their seed time down an additional 1.65 seconds from the qualifying TAPPS Regional Swim Meet!  The split times from the relay were Anastacia Ramos 34.36; Rebecca Garcia 33.35; Ava Vasquez 32.70 and Amaris Vasquez 31.92.  We are extremely proud of our swimmers and look forward to both the girls and boys teams making the state meet in 2023!  

The 2021 TAPPS Swimming Academic All-State Honors have been posted and we have three swimmers that are recognized with 2021 TAPPS Swimming Academic All-State Honors!  

2021 TAPPS Swimming Academic All-State qualifications:

  • Qualified for state (no relay alternates)
  • Junior or Senior
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better

Our 2021 TAPPS Swimming Academic All-State honorees are:

Rebecca Garcia, Senior

Anastacia Ramos, Junior

Amaris Vasquez, Junior

Congratulations to our honorees!  We are so proud of their accomplishments!  We look forward to more Swimming Academic All-State Honorees next year!

We are almost sold out for the Black and Gold Casino Night on February 26th!

Cheer, Drill, and Mascot Tryouts

For any student interested in trying out for the 2022-2023 Cheering Team, Mascot, or Drill Team, there will be a mandatory meeting via Zoom Sunday, February 20 at 4 pm.
