From Mr. McFarland

A huge thank you to all those that helped make the Freshman Retreat possible. It was an amazing, beautiful, and Christ-filled weekend. Many of the students have shared how moving and fun their retreat was. Please keep the Freshman in your prayers as they continue to pursue the Lord and seek to be Fulfilled, which comes in and through Christ!  As St. Augustine reminds us, "Our hearts are restless until they rest in You."

From Fr. Martinez Update on Donated Baseball Lights

As many know we received poles and lights from a donor for the baseball field and we have spent the last few months trying to find a way to have them installed.  Because they are not new and shorter than traditional high school light regulations we are unable to find an engineer that would sign off on the project.  At this time, with no engineer, a permit through the city is not possible, and even if possible, we would not be able to have them insured.  We are currently looking into the cost of new construction, but preliminary proposals are way over our budget due to supply chain issues and inflation.  We are hoping that in the future prices may come down when the dust settles economically. I just wanted to keep you all updated.
